We have a very low overhead and so we don't need to make as much on each item as our competition does to stay open. We prefer not to over price our sabers because first and foremost we are fans and members of the Lightsaber community and we prefer to help other fans be able to afford lightsabers for themselves as we wished we could get for ourselves.
When you buy from us we give your Lightsaber special attention. We will not drop ship your saber from the factory unless you choose the Factory Direct Savings Deal. We bring your sabers in from the factory to our shop in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri where we go over the entire saber, down to the wires if needed, to make sure there are no problems or defects. We then run every Lightsaber and Lightsaber Core through a battery of tests, and then run them through a Burn In. A Burn In is when we run the saber until the battery is drained, charge it, run it till its drained again, charge it again, and if it still passes the operations tests, it has passed the Burn In. If a Lightsaber, or Lightsaber Core is going to fail, it is usually at this point. If it does fail, we replace whatever has failed, repeat the Burn In until it passes. Once it has passed the Burn In we will then ship out the order. We also warranty everything we sell for a year, even though most places do not, and that is why we check everything down to the wires, and go over all of the fit and finish to make sure you get the Lightsaber you are expecting.
Factory Direct sales are drop shipped directly from the factory and are not handled by us at our shop. Even though this is a lower price way to order, you may have to deal with some fit and finish issues, and possible electronic or physical faults, from something as simple as the buttons not lining up to catastrophic failures after a couple charges. We take care of these types of problems at our shop when orders come to us first. If there are any problems you can contact us to help you resolve them and in the case of a catastrophic failure you will have to ship the lightsaber to our shop to repair, or replace any issues. When repaired we will run it through our battery of tests and the Burn In Process to make sure there will not be a catastrophic failure when you receive the Lightsaber.
When an order comes through our shop we check it out completely, down to the wires if necessary, to make sure that your order is correct and complete. We test every operation, and do a Burn In on all Lightsabers, cores, and blades to make sure there won't be a catastrophic failure out of the gate as soon as you get your order. When all testing is finished we then ship your order to you. We also add some extras in your order. Depending on the items ordered, and the size of your order, you will receive anything from a blade plug and a stand, or a saber necklace, or a kyber crystal necklace, to an additional lightsaber for the kids.
