CORE TYPES
BASE LIT CORES: The blades are lit by three powerful LED's, a Red, a Blue, and a Green (thus RGB). The blades of these sabers are hollow with a diffusion material inside to make the lighting more even. The RGB lightsabers are not capable of impressive lighting effets, but they are capable of heavy dueling, in other words, full contact. The main difference in the types of RGB cores is how many fonts are installed, whether they are expandable or not by means of a micro SD card, and whether they have smooth swing capabilities or not.
4-RGB: The simplest of sabers, meant for little kids or promotions at events. They are made with metal hilts and the same blades as the other RGB sabers, but they only have 4 soundfonts loaded in them and they cannot be upgraded or have any additional fonts added to them. They have simple effects like flash on clash, lock-up, blaster block, color change with 12 colors, and a simple swing (not smooth swing). The lightsaber also has a 1watt speaker for its sound.
16-RGB: This is a significant upgrade to the 4-RGB, but like it there is no upgrading or adding of any additional soundfonts. It comes loaded with 16 soundfonts and has the same effects; flash on clash, lock-up, blaster block, gesture controls, color change with 12 colors, but it has a true smooth swing included. This saber is also loaded with a 3Watt speaker to have plenty of power for the audio delivery. This saber is meant as the entry level for teenage and adult wielders to use for heavy dueling and as part of a collection.
S-RGB: This is an upgraded version of the 16-RGB and comes with 27 soundfonts, and a micro SD card that allows for additional soundfonts, and background music to be added (and you can add as many as can fit on the card). This saber is loaded with a 3Watt speaker to have plenty of power for the audio delivery. It also comes with Bluetooth connection so you can connect to the Force Park app that gives you control over the lightsabers functions, parameters and infinite color choice by way of a color palate.
PIXEL CORES: The blades are lit by the 288 LED’s along with a diffusion material inside to make the lighting more even. The Pixel lightsabers are capable of impressive lighting effets, and animated ignitions, but they are only capable of light to medium dueling. These sabers have a minimum of 27 soundfonts installed (more on the way), and they are expandable by means of a micro SD. The more advanced PIXEL lightsaber type you get, the more impressive they are, but also the higher the price.
SN-V4 PIXEL (SN-PIXEL): Our entry level pixel core that is in all our lightsabers, even the ones that are not made in association with TXQ. It comes with 27 soundfonts installed (more to come in the future), Smooth Swing with swing accents included, several different effects including; lock-up, drag, melt, stab, blaster block, flash on clash, and Force effects, 9 blade styles, The sabers even come 9 different blade effects such as, (waves, steady, pulse, rainbow, flash, cracked, and more) and 11different animation ignition effects. The built in Bluetooth allows the Force Park app to give you access to the functions, modes, and parameters of the core. You even have access. To three modes of color control where you have infinite color choices; you have step control (just like the hilt control that gives you 12 pre-programmed colors to choose from), Smooth color (like the step control but slowly, and smoothly transitions so you can pick from an infinite amount of colors), and finally the Palette (you can either pick a point on the infinite color wheel, or enter the Red, Blue, and green numbers between 0 and 255) so you can dial in the exact color you want. Remember it is LED’s creating the light so it can be difficult if you’re extremely picky.
Proffie: The standard proffie chip TXQ uses to build their cores is V2.2, but we can build your saber with V3.9 if you like (there is an upcharge for the upgrade). The Proffie Board will act very much like the SN-V4 board when you receive it, but you can make it do virtually anything you want it too, but it does require you to program, it. You will either connect a mini USB cable from your computer directly to the proffie soundboard, or you remove the micro USB from the lightsaber, put it into an adapter USB plug and then plug it directly to your computer. From their you will have to open the config.ini file in your notepad or other similar program, and alter its coding by changing or adding lines of code. Once done you will save the config.ini file, then replace your USB in your lightsaber and let it update your chip when you turn it on. If I lost you then the Proffìe is not for you yet, move on to the Golden Harvest. If I did not lose you, or your looking for a challenge then you are good to go. There is no manual for this, and it is open source, but there are several websites, and social groups dedicated to lightsaber Proffie programming. We ourselves are newbie Proffie programmers, but we can install the chips, basic programming and font files. You can also get new font files for the Proffie directly from sites dedicated to that.
GOLDEN HARVEST V3: These are avialable only on request and on certain models, contact us for availabilit. By far our overall favorite core here at Mortis Vault, and we build them our selves. The core is built around the Sabertec Golden Harvest V3 soundboard made in Germany. Anyone that builds them has to import them from Germany, or get them from someone else that does and that is why companies can run out of them so quickly and be out of them for quite a while. That is also why they are so expensive! With all that said, they are so worth it! The Golden Harvest has such a smooth swing you can feel the difference between it and the SN-V4. Don’t get me wrong the SN-V4’s smooth swing is great, but the Golden Harvest V3 in so near perfection. The GHv3 also has the ability to layer effects on top of each other, and with 36 blade styles and 28 blade effects you layer on top of the blade styles, you get over 1,000 ignited blades (1,008 actually)! Only the Proffie and its programmability can top that. It comes with 49 sound fonts (more to come soon). It also has a saber editor mode where you can control the color profile (that means all the colors! Blade, Clash, Stab, Lock-up, Melt, Blaster, and Force Effect). You get to choose from 22 ignition types and 15 retraction types. You can also change the speed of the ignition and retraction to perfectly match up with the sound fonts that you choose to go with them. You get to choose gesture controls to be able to use stab, swing, or twist to turn you blade on, or off. You also get a Battle Configuration that allows you to have you blaster block, force power, or lock-ups, on either a button push, button and twist, button and swing, or button and clash. All these capabilities can be saved to each sound font, so you can customize each of the 49 fonts to be wildly different from each other if you like. This is the most flexible and powerful saber without programming it. All these choices are available at the hilt. We like to say “Proffie power with Pixel control.”
