About Us

       Welcome first of all to the mortis vault, and a big welcome to the vaults staff.
my name is Tyrrin Brown and welcome to my site. If you have found your way to the about us, I'm assuming you wish to know more about me and my company. Well, rest assured I will tell you.

    My story is much like the rest of yours if you are here searching for lightsabers. I grew up on Star Wars and have had a passion for it my entire life. I have loved the worlds that Lucas and the many writers and storytellers have given us in that world and it has only built my passion for it up. I've been captivated and intrigued by this world for over 25 years. from the day my father showed me a new hope for the first time to the quite recent Ashoka. my passions and captivation have grown.

    And in that captivation comes a bit of world-building and fantasizing of my own. Every kid wants a lightsaber, but what we had growing up were the cheesy telescoping sabers. While fun for children as you get older you want something better.. and well we got them in the first electronic sabers. Still cheesy and not what any fan truly envisions but these allowed us to begin with learning to fight with them, but as always it leads to wanting for more. Then came the first realistic sabers and the beginning of the true lightsaber business,  this is where I was drawn. Learning about these high end sabers, metal hilts realistic sounds and lights, the electronics work that goes into making the wonders of prop magic that even now is being used to help film lightsabers in the shows.

    This passion amid my ramblings is where it meets profession. I love lightsabers and Star Wars and I want to give to you my fellow fans lightsabers, not just things to set on a shelf but to help live out that fantasy and to share it with your friends and family. I do this work and bring you these sabers to give you the chance to live out your dreams, and deliver a quality product. I do this out of my love for the industry of saber building, my love of Star Wars, and to embrace the nerd within myself.
